All wallpapers are locally printed in western Sweden at Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik, where modern, environmentally conscious production meets traditional craftsmanship. The factory uses water-based inks and non-woven backings from PEFC-certified sources, and production is carried out in close collaboration between designers, colorists, and printers.

The wallpapers are printed on non-woven material made from recycled synthetic fibers (including PET bottles) and cellulose from FSC-certified forests. The material is dimensionally stable, easy to hang, and OEKO-Tex Standard 100-certified. Two printing methods are used:

Surface print: Thick water-based colors are applied using engraved rollers. Each roller adds a color layer, sometimes leaving a slightly raised texture for a handcrafted feel.

Rotary screen print: Ink is pressed through a cylindrical mesh. Each cylinder applies one color, enabling crisp details and vibrant hues. This method works well for both bold patterns and delicate structures.

Sustainability is central to the entire production. Our wallpaper manufacturer Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik only works with water-based paints and varnishes free from PVC, heavy metals, or harmful substances. No solvents other than water are involved, and all production waste is recycled. Excess paint is reused, energy consumption is climate-compensated, and the wallpaper backing consists of recycled synthetic fibers and FSC-certified paper pulp.

Simply apply paste directly to the wall and hang the strips. For best result we do recommend hiring a professional installer, especially when pattern matching is important.

Our wallpapers can be wiped clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth or sponge. Avoid using detergents or harsh chemicals—plain water is enough to protect the surface.

To calculate the number of rolls and ensure the best result we suggest consulting a professional wallpaper hanger.
